Nakka are a band from Russia that plays a mixture of groove, death metal and grindcore and this is a review of their 2013 album "Man-Factory" which was released by Satanath Records.
Spoken word and horror movie samples start off the album along with some avant garde sounds and after the intro they stay in an experimental direction while also getting a lot more heavier at the same time as well as adding death metal growls onto the recording along with a great amount of groove elements.
High pitched grindcore screams can be heard quite a bit throughout the recording and the riffs also bring in a great amount of melody at times and some songs also bring in electronic style vocals and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard and some songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and when solos and leads are utilized they have a technical feeling to them.
Nakka plays a style of grindcore that is very heavily influenced by the more groove orientated style of death metal while also bringing in more of a mid tempo approach to the genre, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics are written in Russian and cover Society themes.
In my opinion Nakka are a very great sounding mixture of death metal, groove and grindcore and if you are a fan of those musical genres, you should check out this band. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Necroelectro" "The Girl And The Machine" "Milling" and "Factory". 8 out of 10.
