Anal Fissure are a band from the Philippines that plays a very brutal form of slam death metal and this is a review of their 2015 album "Mind Of A Serial Killer' which was released by Brute! Productions.
Guttural sounds start off the album along with the sounds of humans screaming and laughter before going into more of a brutal, slam death metal direction and when the music speeds up a great amount of blast beats can be heard while the riffs also bring in a small amount of melody in some parts of the songs.
When vocals are brought into the music they are very deep yet guttural death metal growls and you can also hear all of the musical instruments that are present on the recording while the songs also bring in a great mixture of slow, mid paced and fast parts and the music also brings in a touch of grind and at times and there is never a soft moment present anywhere on the recording.
Anal Fissure plays a style of slam death metal that is very brutal and raw and also brings in a touch of grindcore, the production sounds very professional while the lyrics cover Killings and Obscenity themes.
In my opinion Anal Fissure are a very great sounding brutal, slam death metal band and if you are a fan of this musical genre, you should check out this recording. RECOMMENDED TRACKS INCLUDE "Swarming Vile' "Gorging On Rotten Flesh" "Gluttonous Scavenger" and "Multiple Murder". 8 out of 10.
