This is a review of a 2011 promo from Expurgate which continues on the guttural gore/death metal sound.
Drums range from s low, mid paced to fast drumming with a good amount of brutal sounding blast beats being thrown into the song, while the bass playing has a more powerful sound than the previous demo.
Rhythm guitars range from slow, mid paced to fast riffs that combine brutal death metal with deathcore with no guitar solos or leads being present on the song.
Vocals are all deep guttural death metal growls, while t he lyrics cover gore themes, as for t he production it h as a very strong, powerful, heavy and brutal sound where you can hear all of the musical instruments that are present on this song.
In my opinion this song from Expurgate shows great improvement from t he preevious demo and if you are a fan of brutal death metal, you should c heck this band out. RECOMMENDED>
